— Consumer Information —
Both Breda & Stinger provide traditional pest control and termite treatment. Trutech Inc. primarily services wildlife and animal control, they do not treat termites.
Termites - The three primary termite treatment systems in Georgia are 1 - the barrier system, 2 - the bait system, and 3 - the non-repelling barrier system. Talk to your pest control professional about which system is right for you.
Pest control companies provide either a “Termite Retreatment” warranty or a “Termite Retreatment & Repair” warranty. The first promises repeat treatments if termites come back, but does not offer compensation for termite damage. The second provides both retreatment and compensation for termite damage.
To further prevent pests from entering your home, remember these simple tips: -Remove unnecessary water sources: leaky pipes, poor drainage, etc; all rodents need a water source to survive. -Remove unnecessary wood sources from near your house; these items provide food and may actually attract termite colonies. -Seal all small holes and cracks in you foundation, siding, and all other areas around you home. -Keep your gutters clean; wet gutters are an excellent breeding ground for mosquitoes. -Keep all vegetation, tree limbs, etc. cut back from your house and roofing. These limbs not only damage shingles on windy days, but also provide easy access for roof rats, squirrels and other attic nesting creatures.
